Access from your mobile phone after a security upgrade

In order to provide a more secure website AVS GPS Tracking has upgraded to SSL certification.

For most customers there will be no change to access. However if you use your mobile phone to access your account you may need to replace the existing web browser bookmark or web app on the home screen.

To check if the existing bookmark or web app is still working click on it as usual – if the page does not load to 100% the bookmark or web app will need to be replaced. Simply delete the existing one and then save a new one.

Here are some basic guidelines:

On an Android phone:

  1. Delete the existing bookmark or web app
  2. Load the AVS Tracking login page url: https://www.avstracking.com on the Google web browser
  3. Successfully login to your AVS Tracking account
  4. Tap the Recent Apps icon
  5. Tap Add to Home Screen

On an Apple phone:

  1. Delete the existing bookmark or web app
  2. Load the AVS Tracking login page url: https://www.avstracking.com on the Safari web browser
  3. Successfully login to your AVS Tracking account
  4. Tap the Share icon
  5. Swipe across the bottom row and tap Add to Home Screen
  6. For ease of use edit the title down to just AVS Tracking
  7. Note: for the application to work on Apple Private Browsing must be turned OFF on your device’s web browser Privacy settings.
